I am presuming that you did not intend or initiate the formatting of your memory stick, so I would further presume that you may have initiated this procedure accidentally.
Could you also please clarify what you meant by 'semi-format'? How was the format stopped? Did you just remove the memory stick or did the format stop on its own?
Please provide as much information as possible.

Ok I have a mem reader, and I was loading some 4.0 mgpx photos on to it, and then the process finished, i took the stick out, and my apps werent there so i put it back in, all the folders were empty. Then I took it out put it back into the reader again, some of the folders began to fill up!?@%

So now only half of my files are there, but 0 programs.

Hi Yazan24, dont worry I too had to return my first p900 because i was unable to access my system folders.

Now on my second i still occassionally get this problem

What i found helps is

1 remove battery when you start up, ie press start button feel the vibrate then remove. Do this up to 5 times. Sometimes this returns the system files

2 do the above and remove the duo card.

3 failling this I last time put my old duo back in the phone and repeated process 1, removing battery.

Ive read somewhere its because there is a limit in the number of programmes one can have on a p900? or maybe dodgy software like the app forge booster. This crashed my files when I initally installed it and i had problems removing it

Hope this helps

Software seems the most likely cause, although I wonder if it is perhaps something to do with your memory card. Has it been damaged in any way recently? Which brand is it?
