iam thinkin about doin a site for the p900 that gives help and advice to people that have probs email in probs share tips ideas etc.as all the other sites are links to other places and things u have probs downloading,it will be web and wap based wot do u think guys.

without any help it's mission impossible....
After one and a half year of doing what you're planning to do I can conclude it is very hard... every spare time I get (when I'm not on school during the day) I spent on the website... it's just not helping with configuring WAP setting or wrong displays... they also are asking you questions varying from synchronise problems over bluetooth to the p900 succecor!
If you want do to it... I wish you a lot of succes but first of all look around and think to yourself which unique aspect you would bring to the web... there a lot of places to get info/help like esato, mobile-review, modaco, p800.info, club SE etc.
If I had to start on this moment, I wouldn't do it because other sites are already bigger. And you have to start small...
I had the luck to jump into it at the right moment (december 2002).
And we are earning now the credit and name that we build during those 500 days of operating.....
We are now so big we have a member count of 3700+ just Dutch P800 and P900 users.
And very soon we are going to expand to a real domain (we are still using .tk) and we're leaving MSN groups and swap it for a PHPportal still in dutch language though so I'm not telling you this story to prevent you of becoming in the same market because you probably aren't.
Some tips:
-Team up with some people (you can't do it on you're own)
-Put a forum with it
-Add each day some news (software etc.)
-Expect the most hardest questions but also the most easiest ones, try to answer most of the questions here as a test/training!
-Don't do any illegal stuff (like posting keygens etc. the only other MSN group... groups.msn.com/p900 did that, we warned them... the didn't listen) though it will give a member boost, know your limits!
-Stay official than it's more easy to get contacts in the Symbian/SE world.... very important!
-start small, don't think you can be as big as esato for instance... it will grow but stick to it also in hard times!
