> P800 disk full

I've just added some software that's completely filled my disk. Everything has ground to a halt - navigating takes an age. I get a little reminder to free up some memory, but when I try to delete an app, another message pops up to say that the operation cannot be completed "because the disk is full..." of course it's full, that's why I'm trying to free up space!!!
Any ideas anyone? - I seem to be in a "Catch-22" situation.

have you tried deleting from the internal memory to give the P800 some system memory to work with? or sync with the PC and delete from there?

Almost surely you will end up with a format C: and loose all data. Sorry. You can read a lot on the same story on this forum (use the search feature). Always leave 1 MB free on the C: drive.

Yes I have, but it's too sluggish to respond - even when trying to sync with the PC.
I expect it'll be a return to service centre job and have the drive wiped.
At least I've got backup files...
