was wondering if any one can help with opera problem. have a p800 on vodafone and normal browser works fine. opera however wont load any pages at all. someone has told me i need to ring vodafone and ask for internet gprs gateway settings or something as opera uses different gprs settings? does anyone know if this is correct and explain what it means. cheers in advance fellas!

Yep, that is correct. You need a 'internet' APN to browse with Opera, the internal browser uses the Vodafone GPRS-wap settings. Opera can't use a wapgateway so need a internet connection (like HTML thru port80) ask Voda CS to enable internet access and to send you the settings..Now you can use Opera and pop3 email This message was posted from a WAP device

it depends on your service provider if it allows wap connection on internet internal browser.

So if the wap connection keeps port 80 open then we can use the browser. But why not opera?
