it wont reset it totally, looking with file manager loads of rubbsish still there including icons etc from tracker !!!!

heh..my master reset default code which is 0000 wouldn't work as well..lol...after sending it to the S.E service center, they formatted my whole phone and told me they didn't do a backup..=p

0000 is for language reset. the master reset is in the control panel...

Master reset still leaves loads of junk in your phone, you wanna format the internal disk. You can do this by keying
up * down * down down * in standby.

master reset restores the phone to factory settings. formatting the internal drive wipes out everything since it left the factory.
