It definately works on the P900 in flip closed but not in flip open.
Don't think it works at all on a P8 but I might be wrong.

how is an animated gif working as a flip closed wallpaper? all i get is the first frame frozen on the screen. are u talkin about using it as a screensaver or wallpaper???

it deffinatly works as a background moving picture in flip closed. the "fly on the screen" pic that comes with the phone is pretty neat.
one prob tho is that the gif seems to stop for a split second after each cycle.
