Everytime i try to update it says... Error communication with device.
EVERYTIME! What am I doing wrong?

if your network has not approved the upgrade you'll get this error message - even if you have unbranded your P900. If your P900 was purchased SIM free, in theory you should not have any probelems.

Welcome to the club. I too bought mine directly from SE USA.
My previous updates worked fine. This one - no joy. I believe several folks are in this category.
(Any chance this could be an effect from running Norton anti-virus?)

Try to use Opera and Sun Java for the update. I couldnīt get it to work with IE either.

If you are using IE. make sure you dont have to high security level.
Put to lowest while performing the update.
That worked for me.
/dont forget to rais sec-level again after...

yah i tried what everyone suggested and it still says Error in communication with Device. I dont understand... I really dont need the update that bad but it'd be nice to be up to date. Let me know if anyone gets an idea!

Uninstall and re-install the drivers for the cradle as well as the PC suite. Also, make sure that the Anti-virus software (if you have it) is disabled.
