Ok ive spoken to my friends about this, and they would still rather have a ipod and a phone. Rather than just a P900...

Has anyone here got both ?

One of my friends has said its because of how iTunes/IPod stores the music and makes it so simple to find and edit...

Anyone know what im chating about ? lol And if its possible to do the same kinda thing on the P*** ??

Anyway thought id start a little thread , lets see what ya all think

wtf, who would prefer an ipod (white music playing brick) to any smartphone (the list is endless)?

ps. no one reply, "his friends" it was a rhetorical question!!!!

The P900 is a smartphone and not a MP3 player. The P900 isn't that good as the storage is very limited. 40Gigs Vs 128mb...

If I was stuck on a 5 hour train/plane ride I know which device I would have... iPod 4 thoses who are a bit slow.

It's all about what you need and what you want. Having had a p800 i now know i don't need one cos i never really used it to its potential. I would get much more use out of an ipod and a normal phone.
Carrying my camera around aswell.. it's all the technology i'll ever need whilst away from me poota

Ive got a net-MD, but would still much prefer an ipod. I don't think you can really compare the two.

I have both...

you cant compare them with each other at all...

Get both if u can, but listening to Music on a P900 kinda sucks and trying to talk to friends or so on a iPod for sure sucks (they just dont pick up). The newer iPods and especially the iPod Minis are really small and light so having both on you shouldnt be a problem.

Oh btw, I still would prefer the regular iPod and not the Minis...

Take care.

@icedsoul

So whats the plus points, not in terms of music quality or memory size. But the way u store the music its alot easier to find tunes and sort ur music on a iPod right ? Would it be like having iTunes on ur P900 ?

Also would it be possible to have iTunes on a memory card , that would be cool right ?

Using the iPod is very nice and much more comfortable then trying to organize youre music on the p900. Also the transfer of all your tunes is much faster, 'cause the iPod has Firewire.

iTunes on a MemCard? to have it on the p900? Hmm. Nah useless. I dont even like watching any kind of Videos on the p900. Take the iPod for all the Music stuff und the p900 for contacts and that PDA/Phone stuff.
