could anyone please help me use the opera browser. i've the version 6.2, whenever i try to open any page it doesn't even connect to the net (i know cause the green globe doesn't come) and after sometime it shows a message- Could not locate remote server. i've tried opening wap sites also it just doesn't connect.

well i dont think that i have seperate accounts for wap and internet. i use the same account in my normal p900 browser and am able to open any wap or html site.

activate your internet account w/ your service provider and you can use d opera browser. If I were you I'll shift to v. 6.3 enjoy

Same problem. I can get out on the Internet with the ordinary web browser choosing my wap account, but not with Opera, can only surf in cradle. If i choose my wap account it says connected, but it doesn't download anything.

Same problems with other programs that updates via wap.

well i also live in new delhi and subscribed to hutch.i am using hutch gprs 99per month.but sorry to say mate that u cannot use opera or any other 3rd party app with that connection.howerver if u want to use 3rd party apps than go for gprs 599 per month.that will solve ur problem.

well i've tried it and the opera works fine only when i have it placed on my sync station, cant figure out how that happens.

well have u tried airtels gprs 499 per month.all the apps work fine with it.well u can also go to a se service center.by the way where do u live in nd.

well you can download opera6.31 from www.opera.com and enter the proxy settings as 10.10.1.100 and the port as 9401 and enjoy
