Whilst poking around with my new found Filemanager, i have found the StartUP and ShutDOWN screens and Wavs, these should be easy to change but when you view them they are mirrored which i find a bit weird, anyone know why this would be so ?

Be careful when you change them as i've heard of instances where if you get the resolution of the movie wrong the phone won't start and has to be reset the hard way.

You can find them in

A:\Sysdata\

They are called

Popcorn.wav
Shutdown.mp4
Startup.mp4

This is on an Orange SE P900

Well i will have a go now since ive found them, are they protected in some way, cos the A:\ has definately got to be read/write enabled.

Yep. It's 100% NOT POSSIBLE to change your start-up/shutdown with a P900. A P800 ís possible, cause there it's stored on you're C: drive.
But as mentioned before, USE EXTREME CAUTION in changing them yourself. Be real sure you know what you're doing when you want to create you're own start-up/shutdown file. There are many created by others out there already. If you want to know all about this, search for a guy named Ian Hardcastle. He wrote a manual on how to do this.
