Hey all,

Got slightly bored at work and was thankful for having lemmings loaded on my P900. Only snag, i think there is an error with one of the levels. maybe someone can confirm this?

Its on Mayhem Level 3 - code ONHGEKNNHJ

I found that there is a small hole in the ground above the water where they are falling through.

This can't be right as all other versions don't show this hole. i.e.: the well-known guide at Lemming-Solution shows a flat unbroken ledge above the water (as here http://tinyurl.com/2l3w9 ). My plan will only work if this damn hole is not there!

Any help is appreciated.

Sorry to reply without an answer to your question - instead I have my own little Lemmings-problem

Level 25 on the Tricky level, "Cascade". I can see at http://home.wanadoo.nl/lemmin[....]%20tricky/25%20-%20Cascade.gif that they should be landing at a platform when jumping into the level. That platform isn't there!!

Is this not possible to solve then? Any other lemmings versions that might work? Help deeply appriciated!!

I truly believe that the Px00 port doesn't seem to be an exact copy, at least content-wise and not graphics wise.

Can anyone kindly confirm these two occurances?

Thanks for the reply.

If you are able to enter the level code, can you say that the ledge above the water is *exactly* the same as in the picture i linked to earlier?

Cheers.

@Popolou
You are right the P900 port has some bugs in it. In level 3 in mayhem there is a hole on the ledge and it shouldn't be there.

@Kris
The same in Level 25 on the Tricky level, "Cascade". There should have been a platform in where they can land this is missing in the p900 version.

You just have to skip those levels and continue with the next levels by entering the codes
hope this helps

Well, i've been doing some digging around the file system for the lemming files and found the LemStyles.mbm file. It contains all the levels and sprites for the game.

Curious: why do i feel there is more to it than editing the multi-bitmap to plug the gaps for the game to work? I havent gone far enough yet, but is there a physics file the game works off in conjunction with the maps?

Cheers

Popolou

(ps: anish, i am obliged for your efforts)
