I own a T610 and a Jabra BT 200 BT headset, I have always had a problem with range, but now I have a extra problems: -
1. The headset is crackling badly if I move more than three feet from the phone.
2. If I leave the BT on my T610 switched on al day by the evening the phone will not always recognise voice commands unless I switch off the phone & BT then restart phone & BT.
3. with the phone in my pocket the headset will not find the phone.
Any ideas or is this normal?

It could be your headset you should use SE BT headsets.

I use a Moto HS810 headset with mine and it works fine, but does start to crackle when the headset volume is set high, the phone volume is set high, or i walk too far away from the phone.
Mine works fine, try another headset, and try your phone with another Bluetooth device to make sure its communicating up to its stated 10m range. Its most likely to be the headset thats the problem, Jabra make good cheap headsets, but the build quality isnt the best.
