my p800 sometimes slow down with the commands, like when i click on the apps, it takes time for it to appear. then i remove the battery to shut it down and when i turn it on again i hear 3 click sounds. it happened a number of times this week. can i format the internal disk? ive tried master reset but it only solves the problem temporarily, and after a few days it acts up again

I had this problem too and tracked it down to having removed a folder from the applications folder list which still had an application in it. This caused a program called ALaunch to keep running (if you look using Taskman you will be able to see if this is the same problem) and this caused the whole phone to really slow down when switching from one area to another (especially the applications).

@alena
Yes you can but these 3 click sound are establishing that your device is on the network or is it a different sound?
And If I were you I would do an upgrade before formating. It might solve the problem in that way.

You can also format the internal disc through the service menu.
In flip closed press:
(roll)jogdial up, *, jogdial down, down, *, down, *
This actually wipes the internal drive clean while Master Reset does not fully
