Had a talk with some people at S/// some days ago, and they told me that K700 will have resolution for the camera and more memory than originally told.
The memory will be 41 Mb instead of 32.
By some kind of software solution the camera's max resolution will be 1280x960 pixels instead of 640x480. Although they say it's no megapixel camera, it's still a vga-cam.

It may have 41mb but i think only 32 will be available to the user. As for the pics sounds like the thing they put on the t630 that made the pics bigger but kept the res the same ie made a crap pic worse by making it bigger so you can all the imperfections This message was posted from a T610

For N3650 they came up with a software that combined four 640x480 pics and thus ending up with a better picture. Maybe follows the trend... It would make sense since there are already some megapixel cameras on the market and there are gonna be a lot more before the S700 hits the market.
Considering the memory, yes, it might very well be true.
But I have to agree with mass (in the K700 discussioin), it is a lousy marketing tactic not to announce such functions ahead of sales. Of course it would make a welcome surprise for all of us fans but all the others will probably already have chosen SharpGX30 or some other equal...

No, 41 Mb memory is for the user. Not only 32 Mb. At least according to S///.

Normally I would dismiss this, as it did seem like it was stated as 41MB on board, which would allow 32MB to the user. The only thing I see wrong with that scenerio is a total on board memory of 41MB. It is kind of a weird number in terms of addressable memory. I thought total 32/48/64 would be more like it.

48MB on board, 41MB free?

that sounds more reasonable.
I had a chat with a PR guy from SE for two weeks ago and he also mentioned that at least 5 - 6MB will be occupied to your operators and you will be able to remove most of these preinstalled things which allows you to have even more than 41MB to your disposal.
That is great.
