couple of times that i got an icon-type warning, a black exclamation mark inside a yellow border,plus an arrow pointing to the on/off button.i tried to turn it off but it wont so i removed the batt instead.can anyone help me with this?

Hold down the power button for 10 seconds (this is a full power-off).
Don't worry, your data will be fine.
Then just turn phone back on. If you keep getting same problem, it is likely due to software you installed.
Good tip: always perform a backup before installing software so you can go to previous state

I personally think the warning screen is pretty self-explanatory if u just look at what it's telling you ;-p
I think it'd be better though if it just explains that "the phone has restarted to improve performance" like the P9 now does.

btw, I do recall another thread about a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark which appeared to be different from the one we're assuming here. take a read and see what you think
