i downloaded the latest version 1.00
how can i send a private msg to any nick in the list?? my msg keep appearing in the main channel text!! cann't i msg someone privately in Quirc??

Just type /msg nick whatever (or /m works too). There is also a mirc style /query (or /q) that you can use to open a new blank window for a specific user (otherwise you'll get a new window once the user replies to your message). If you select a nick in the list you can use the "Query" option in the Command menu for the same result.
