Opera by default puts them all at "C:\web\saved pages". Since the capacity of P800's internal memory is very2 Iimited, is there any way to save to D (i.e. "D:\web\saved pages"?
Is it possible to also changing the path (i.e. "D:\media files\document\unfiled")?
Any help/suggestions 'd be appreciated.
Thank You.

Andy

If you go over to the Opera website you will find a user Forum there. The solution you seek is possible because I have done it myself. I can't remember exactly what I did because it was a long time ago.

Try also doing a search through Esato and My-Symbian.

The solution is DEFINITELY out there coz I have done it/copied it.

Best of luck.

The hack is for Opera 6.30 which installs the folder to the d drive

I suppose that you can install 6.30 with the hack run it then install 6.31 over the top of it

I have the file if someone wants to host it

I have my home location at D: something. Maybe it's when you install Opera you define it, but i'm not sure.

I used an hexeditor on opera.ini changed
Cache Disk=C to Cache Disk=D then created
D:\system\Data\Opera\cache4 folder.
Theres free hexeditors both for Px00 and PC.
I don't take any responsability for ppl trying this
and messing stuff upp. Can just say I got it working
using hexeditor on the opera.ini file.

I see no reason why this shouldn't work changing
other patch also that Opera use.

@Welsh

You (or whoever) wouldn't by chance be working on a version to work with the Opera v6.32 (that's the lates one for the SE P910 - which I think say v6.31 on the SE website but when you run the program it says v6.32)
