> P900 Alarm sound for diary events
Bookmark topic
OK, so I'm stuck. I sync my P900 with Notes (groan!), and amazingly, it all works fine. However, each of my diarised events has an alarm which rings 15min before the event. The problem- I can't change the alarm sound- whatever I set in Control Panel>Sounds & Alerts>Reminder or Default alarm sound, I always get the same sound when the alarm goes off. The changes I ask for are reflected in the control panel, they do refer to the right sounds, it's just when the alarm actually rings, it's not the sound I selected.
Anyone help?
Thanks

when you are actually modifying the alarm time, there's an option to select which tune you would like to be played for the alarm, tap on that and voila

Thanks a lot- but does this mean I will have to edit every "default" alarm for each of my appointments that comes across from sync-ing with notes?

Probably, but I am not a 100% on that one.

Just had a look at the alarm options in the calendar view, and I'm not seeing an option to change the sound... where should I be looking for this?
Thanks for the help

Maybe you could locate the sound that it is playing for your alarm and delete it. Then rename the sound you want to have so it has the same name as the one you deleted.

Go to: calendar > Edit > Preferences > Alarm. Both minutes and alarm sound are set here.

Mine only shows minutes, no alarm sound.
I have an Orange handset with firmware R3A06.

henrif,
i only see the minute and NOT the alarm per your suggestion.
i thought the only way to select the alarm sound for calendar, you need to do the following..
control pannel -> sounds and alerts -> other -> reminder
