> P900 Power button pressed
Bookmark topic
Since the last couple of days I have been noticing that my

900 is switching itself off at random. Upon looking closely I saw that the power button is slightly pressed inwards. In other words, it is not in an allignment with the infrared port and you can see that its pressed slightly.. My query is that is this normal? I've tried playing around with but no luck as such. It's been less than a month since I've had it!

That is normal for the buttons, however the intermittent power out is not. I should send it off for repare.

Its prob not the cause, because the power button cannot turn off without u selecting the ok, or flight mode etc.
So I highly doubt that.

The button is not meant to be level with the IR cover so don't worry about that.
@Yazan
u can turn off that screen in control panel so that the power button turns the phone straight on & off with no confirmation needed. This is the same with the P8
I always deactivate the prompt screen as I find it more annoying than useful.

Yes but most of us usually need to change it into flight mode very often, so I find it useful, but We oughtta now what he has it on.

Remember that after 10 seconds of holding the power button your phone'll turn off without ANY confirmation

1...2...3... Clear! ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Dont be afraid. Maybe the button needs a bit of cleaning.
