> Resetting T39 speaker

Hi all
Have a background noise in my T39 and just noticed in the test menu that there is a Service settings => select speaker => Reset 1 and Reset 2 options.
Anybody knowing what these options will do ? And any tips about reseting the speaker to improve sound quality ?
