Hey,
Basically i am looking for a bluetooth dongle(?) to connect my Nokia 7600 to my PC. It needs to be compatible with Windows98, as that is what i'm running, and preferably as cheap as possible.
Cheers.

Sorry, but i have used the search, and tried searching for different queries, but it always comes up with too vague topics, and usually with people using XP not 98.

try doing a search for "bluetooth+dongle+98" or a similar variation. perhaps search for "bluetooth dongle" and select the body and title option.
most anything running on WinXP should be OK for 98 (the dongle packaging or manufacturer's webiste should specify system compatability.
i personally use D-Link. other reputable brands are TDK and Belkin, but they are more expensive.

Does anyone know if the Ebuyer USB 100m BT Dongle is compatible with Win98?

if it's compatable (backwards or otherwise) with usb 1.1 it should be fine, but it's a bit of a generic brand. you may do better with something more well known (unless price is your only criterion).

there is also epox and msi. otherwise, anything that uses the WIDCOMM drivers should be ok. you probably can't go too far wrong with D-Link.
