Does anyone know if you can easily take an item from the call list (Received call or missed call) and turn it into a Contact item in the contact manager on the P900?

assuming you mean in flip open mode because you cannot add contacts in flip closed mode, just click on the number in the call list to see the detail and then click on the first menu "phone" and then click on "Add to contacts"

Actually, my error, I didn't explain what I really wanted to do! I want to know, if I can take a number in the call list and basically open up a Calendar entry with that person. So someone calls me and then i want to make an appointment with them....rather than going into the calendar application and starting from scratch, it would already have somehow inserted the number and possible name from caller list into the new calendar entry. This is probably not possible but i thought I would give it a shot!

I'm also sure its not possible with the standard P900 software but perhaps someone with handyday, aquacalendar or some other 3rd party software can comment on whether that feature exists in those

Yes, that's correct. Someone calls me. I want to let's say, set up a meeting with them next week and have their name and telephone number go into the subject of a new calendar item.

Ah, I used to have a Zire 71 and that was possible, I mean, not that you can receive calls on the Zire, but rather when you make a calendar entry and write a person's name who happens to be in your address book, you can have the name and that person's number entered in the calendar entry you are creating. That sure is convenient, especially on a hybrid phone/pda! This should be added to the P900's features. It should be standard, imo. I just don't know right now if there's third-party software that can add that feature.
