The symbian os is an adaptation of a PC os therefor it is quite possible for a mobile to get a virus not to mention the fact that alot of the 3rd party software for the symbian os is using C++ and i have made viruses with C++ that are very affective This message was posted from a Nokia

But how many people do you know who are sad enough to sit there and create a virus for a symbian phone. Symbian phones are a pinch of salt compared to shall we say Windows. It would be a waste of time and effort creating a virus for symbian smartphone. This message was posted from a P800
