Hey ppl, for some reason since I have updated my P900 to the latest firmware, Opera runs bloody fast opens up Hotmail and many other sites in web form. I am so confused, purely because before I had the exact same settings, used the proxy to allow O2 Pay and Go to work with Opera and it was no where as good as what I am getting now. Only difference is the world icon isn't appearing at the bottom when connected to the web, at first I thought shit, cos I thought this was costing me, went to my balance and it aint changed. So is it using the free GPRS or not???

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON.

Don't get me wrong its lovely, being on P&G O2 and being able to access www.sms.ac, www.hotmail.com etc, but why the sudden change. Anyone else having this amazing problem!!

Forgot to add, this works without going through the proxy like everyone else on O2 Pay and Go.

I think it is a long known issue that the O2 WAP flatrates can be used to access many web sites in connection with a P900 or a 6600. At least I have read in German forums about that for a while.

it sounds like it's using your PC's connection - perhaps over bluetooth?

1: no gprs world icon
2: fast speed

i know opera works over bluetooth, done it myself.
