Hi guys!

Why is it such a pain to take the rubber cover of the headphone socket off? Can we take it off all together or it's not advisable?

It is a bit of a pain in the @rse I agree. Suppose it wouldn't do any harm to cut it off as I think it's really just a dust cover. The P800 does ok without one anyway
But it may make the area look a bit bad cos something is missin.

just grip it in ya teeth and rip out the whole thing thats what i did/ its to unfunctional for hard core A/V feature users such as myself.
