Hello I have had a p800 / p900 which I still have and I know they work with Tmobile sim cards even though they was not bought from T-mobile. I am now looking at the XDA2 I know this is a P800/P900 forum but know at lot of people have both phones. I still love my p900 and will be keeping it but need some features that the XDA2 has. I will be buying it from O2 and would like to know if i buy it this way will it work on T-mobile without me unlocking it like my other phones did I.E. p800 and p900?

Buy it sim free it will be unlocked, buy it on contract or from O2 and they will lock it, even though normally they wouldnt. They do this because it has their branding on it, the case actually has O2 engraved on it !

if u buy it from the carphone warehouse they sell it unlocked as i was looking at it before i got my p900, its about £600 GBPs so it is alot of money best off really getting it on o2 it would be a lot cheaper.

the XDA is cheaper because its a superceeded model, the XDA II is now the price the XDA originally was and way more expensive that the P900
