Hi guys, I plan on getting a new pay as u go p900. However, ive noticed the HUGE price difference between it and the P800. Can anybody tell me what the p900 has that makes it worth hundreds of pounds more. Thanks.

Look
here
Basically-the P900 has:
-Better battery,
-Voice recording,
-Better colours P900=65536 P800=4096
-More memory P900=16+32 MB P800=12+16 Mb
-Wap version P900= 2.0 XHTML, P800=HTML 2.0
-But the p900 has 15 lines and the p800 has >19

battery and screen make the biggest difference.built in video recorder if thats your thing.not as much of an imrovement as i would have liked and the reason im still on a P800 ,although if i was buying my 1st i would go straight to theP900 as youll regret it later if you dont

Yeah go for p900. I wouldnt be able to stand only 4k colours on a smartphone or any phone with a camera.

Well, I'd say P900 for:
-Design (more serious)
-much clearer screen
-customizable themes
-real stylus
-it seems that the flip is more solid
many reasons, but if you choose the p800, I'll sell you mine mwahahaaha

My P800's have voice recording standard and you can always buy the better battery which works fine in the p800. Otherwise I agree with the other comments. However its not enough of an improvement to justify the price difference for me.

you will regret it! why pay 'hundreds of pounds' for a PAYG, why not get a contract, you would be suprised at what you can get a P900 for these days on a contract.

surely the battery life of both phones is the same - esato seem to think so (http://www.esato.com/phones/index.php/phone=33,cp=107). the P9 needs a bigger battery to do the same thing because it has a more power-hungry screen.
and yes, the P8 has voice recording.
the main differences the two are the newer UIQ (with a few usability improvements and theming), videocam built in (optional on the P8 with additional software), better screen and keypad, and T9. the p9 also has slightly more memory, but that's the only internal difference.
why is it so much more? because people will pay it...
