First of all, hello everyone.

Basically, I was looking for some advice regarding my phone.

Recently, my T310's keyboard just stopped working most of the time, so I figured I would call the customer service number for what to do. They told me to send the phone to a service centre through in Glasgow, who apparantly would repair it on their behalf.

A few days later I received my phone back, with no work having been carried out on it, with the accompanying note saying that the repair was not 'economically viable', or some similar nonsense, due to 'liquid damage'. Now I checked their defination of this damage, and I can categorically state that I have kept my phone completly safe all the time, meaning the damage must be due to shoddy workmanship.

Here's the problem; I feel that I would be doing myself a disservice by not complaining more about this to sony ericsson, but I'm not entirely sure what the best way to go about it is.

I mean, really, the fact that a huge multi-billion pound corporation is unwilling to reair a phone that is under warranty is frankly ridiculous to me.

So: any adivce? Also, anyone had a similar problem?

Ta very much

dont know about complaining but you could take it to a SE service centre in glasgow and get a 2nd opinion.even if you use the carphone warehouse in buchanen galleries(its either that one or argyll street) as theyll check it that day and i wouldnt mention the note, just put it in as faulty and see what happens

Unfortunately, phone warranties are pretty vague, so you never know if what happened will be covered...I remember sending in my T68 for repair, the service center called me saying that they couldnt do anything and that if I wanted my broken T68, I'd have to pay them 50.- CHF...so yeah, good luck
