Anyone tried a preprod or commercial model? Any thoughts? Anyone preordered one allready?
Looking at the homepage at
www.thinkoutside.com it looks realy neat and alot more "usable" then the IR model.

See this thread for starters, there are quite a few more too, some linked from this one,

Also note that the palm keyboard is a re-badged thinkoutside keyboard.
Well worth £50 IHMO.

Very nice! I had the Palm Ultra Slim keyboard once, and I miss it dearly! But Bluetooth will be so much better!

the first shippments will start in about two weeks according to thinkoutside's press manager and i'm getting one then. i've asked him if there is a possibility that this might work with the latest sony ericsson handsets (z1010, k700, s700) through their supporf for the super powerful bluetooth HID profile.
(i mean, it's like, so many p900 users are going to buy the s700

)

I'm planing on getting one aswell but it will have to be expensivly shiped over seas, this is why I'd like someone in the states who is buying it to give us all there impressions. But as one said, it does look sweet! =)

Hi, i'd very much like such a thing! But it's too expensive!
Come on!!
What I don't get is, why it took so long for companies to come up with such a necessary accessory?! Doesn't sound too complex to me!
Can't wait for it to become cheaper anyway!

Anyone has second thoughts about BT for the keyboard. I now use the IR Pocketop one and can still surf on the internet with BT whilst typing, or answer phone calls with my BT Headset whilst typing.
In my belief the P800/900 can only handle 1 BT connection at a time and this would mean that using a BT keyboard the other options are not possible anymore.

Humm... That is a very viable point, Jan. On my own part I do belive the "flexability" of the BT unit (with the IR unit, the phone must be "fixed in space" so to speek) overwaits the dissadvantage of having to possibly switch it of to resive a call in the BT headset. I don't know though, this got me thinking.... =)
Anyone with indeep BT knowlage like to explain further?
