I heard something to this effect about a 18months ago. Might have just been just a slap on the wrist. But we have seen a huge increase in tarrifs that include cross-network minutes but still no reduction for the payg

wasn't the one 18 months ago or so to do with the cost of calling 'from' mobile phones rather than 'to' mobile phones?

Yes i think you might be right. Most contracts include free minutes though and i can't see contract prices dropping althoug they could be driven down if payg call prices drop by 30%

Yeah but most of thie changes have been on contracts. Most prepay users pay up to £0.50 to call another network during peak time.
