I have searched around past posts and it looks like there are no recent updates to issues brought up with syncing the P900 with Outlook 2003. Can someone please address these issues below...

1) Syncing and creates multiple appointment entries.
2) Syncing all phone numbers for contacts (home 1, home 2, etc..)
3) Using folders to sync (not one by one)
4) Outlook 2003 repeatedly asking for permission to access (?)

Please let me know whether you've been able to work out these issues and what settings you had to adjust or change to make it work. =)

Also what version of sync should I be using?

I just want to make sure of everything before I, uh, upgrade to Outlook 2003 =) (paranoid)

Thanks y'all!!!

I have a P800 and outlook 2003 and everything works fine. My contacts are synchronized with no problems (home1,home2 etc) and no outlook 2003 does not ask for permission repeatedly. It just asks only one time.

It seems that you have a P900 but i dont think that it makes any difference.

I have suffered the repeating appointments issue but I think this may be related to Agendus rather then the P900's s/w. When you do sync with Outlook, make sure you are not linked to your Exchange Server (if you are a business user). Syncing does seem to take longer than when using Outlook2002 - again I am not sure if Agendus is responsible for this. I have removed Agendus and will see if things change. Sorry can't report any results for a few days.

I have a P900 and Outlook 2003 and the usual PC Synch software from SE, and synching works just fine via IR, USB dock, and Bluetooth.

I have had some issues with the synch "autostart" crashing Outlook and itself if I plug in the USB and then make my laptop go out of sleep mode. Making sure to put the P900 into the cradle only after the laptop has fully woken up solved this problem.

Occasionaly, I have had to reboot to get the synch back to working after some combination of synchs with USB and laptop sleep/hibernate modes. But that is probably more of an Windows issue than an Outlook or SE issue.
