Because you went to buy one. Sorry old boy, I would imagine they will be getting more reasonably soon.

Discontinued, really?! Gosh, I would have thought that they would have kept it going for a few months yet.

I suppose that makes sense. Hopefully their deals for 3G will be as good as 3's.

when i upgraded to the p900 3 weeks ago i had to wait 3 weeks for the p900 aswell - normally if you go through to orange disconections and tell them you want to terminate your contract when it is up unless they can better vodafones deal(which i did as advised), i told them vodafone will give me the p900 for free and on the same tariff - sure enuff orange matched the deal and bent over backwards to keep the business!!! i was suprised as i got my p900 for free with a load of accesories.....they also told me phone was out of stock for 2 months on my first call to them to the normal enquiry line. but, when i went through to disconections - wa la ----- 2 weeks ----- p900-----very happy!!!!

Worked for me...

Phoned Orange asking for a transfer pack code and they put me over to someone who offered me an acceptable deal to stay with them.

Didn't get it for free (cost £70 as an upgrade) but still a damn sight cheaper than the original £199 they were asking and cheaper than anywhere else I could have got it from (especially given I'm on one of the lower monthly tarriffs).

Had to wait a few weeks for delivery but worth it - great phone
