Hi all...
after getting my phone's firmware wiped and upgraded I managed to restore all the data except for the Orange customisations.

However I'm looking for one of the generic rigtones (which sounds like a modern telephone handset ringing) think it was called Pine or Grass or may have been the default ring in the 'Pine' theme

If anyone can point me in the direction of it or tell me how to manually restore it without all the other Orange crap I'd be grateful

Thanks...

I might be wrong and i haven't got the disk here to check but i think that the orignal orange themes are all on the software disk you get with the phone...

I Think?

Checked the CD's and SE's website (Orange UK's too for that matter) and it isn't anywhere to be found...

It was just a plain boring sample of a modern phone ringing (might even have been generated by the phone itself rather than being a sample) but I liked it because it was fairly distinctive and quite loud.

If I only could remember the name of it I'd be happy to try and restore it manually from a back-up...

If anyone has an Orange P900 and could take 2 min to load the Pine theme in and find out the ringtone name I'd be very grateful

would it not be easier to just get someone to email the tone to ya, then you can just drag and drop it on your phone?

Yes of course...
If someone wants to PM me (for me email) and send me the ringtone that would be great!

(was just trying to be as little of a burden as possible)

Is this a first? Someone who managed to get rid of the Orange defacem ... er, I mean branding, and wants to restore part of it?

Erm... thanks for the offer but its not 'Old Fashion.mp3' (which is part of the SE CD media collection if I remember right).

The ringtone sounded like a phone ringing but wasn't a bell type ring - more modern than that...

If only I'd made a bloody note of the name...

Oh... and yeah I realise I must sound like a right whacko wanting to actually restore part of the Orangizations that most people can't wait to get rid of

Alternatley anyone know a good source of no frills ringtones that actually sound like phones as opposed to a 6 piece band

Thanks again Red5...
