Hi...

I have a voicemail icon appearing on my Z600 screen. When checked, it seems that i have none. No voice messages are recorded for me, not even saved or unheard ones.
Why is the icon still there?
How do i get rid of it?
Does it indicate that i have something else besides a recorded voice mail?

Could it be a mms message or an email ? or maybe a wap push message

if it an envelope with a @ then its an email. If it has a @ but a w insteadd of the 'a' then its a WAP push. Go look it up in the manual.

sometimes the message icon will be displayed if your mailbox is full and requires emptying.
happens to me with sms.

The only way to get rid of it is to throw it in the garbage. Of course you will have to replace it with a Nokia. This message was posted from a Nokia

I had that once.. I was away for about a month and couldnt check voicemails. By the time I got home, the network had deleted the voicemail, but the icon was still on my phone.

In the end, I left myself a voicemail, listened to it then deleted it and it removed the icon altogether.
