> P900/Mac OS X.3.4 connection problem
Bookmark topic
i haven't had any problems using bluetooth to transfer files to my T68i or V600, but for some reason i can't connect with my P900. the phone seems to pair to my Mac PB667 okay, and iSync also seems to work.
i have tried every single combination and permutation of pairing from my P900, pairing from my Mac, turning all the diff Bluetooth system preferences on and off etc. here is what happens
- when using Bluetooth Setup Assistant, Bluetooth Device Setup, i enter the passkey on my computer, then on my P900 and it seems to work, then "Getting additional information about your device" comes up and the blue LED on my P900 flashes rapidly around 30 times, then goes back to flashing every four seconds, and the setup process seems to hang and i have to quit the setup assistant.
- if i try browse the P900 or send a file to it "Validating Device" comes up and it hangs.
iSync seems to work fine with the P900 -- i connected okay and synced iCal and Address Book without problems.
i can browse my V600 fine and transfer files using Bluetooth File Exchange (except got java game files

), so that app must be working okay
help!
(appologies if this was discussed elsewhere, i searched around for 30 mins and couldn't find anything related)
thanx

a little off topic but i use my p900 and t630 with my mac. i use isync and bluephonemenu. I was wondering if there is any program that when i get a call on my cell i can pick up the call from my mac and talk from the built in mic on the computer and hear from the speakers? kind of like a bluetooth setup in a car.
