There has been one that was produced about 1 year ago that was tested with the P800 at the time. It's a Korean model which was pulled off the shelf. They since have released an MP3 network type of BT streaming headset. It also has a boom mic as well. There were two other companies that followed suit, but still have things under development. I must have posted details on this with a beta testing report as well some time over a year ago on Esato. I don't care much for the headset any more. I think Pioneer Audio was looking into developing one before Q4 of this year.

You hit the nail on the head! Bluetooth doesn't have enough bandwith in it's current form to be able to transmit audio of mp3 quality through a stereo headset let alone mono. In the near future we will see the bandwith increase and maybe then it might be able to transmit acceptable quality audio.

Have you guys forgotten about the Zureko adapter that is suppose to stream audio over GPRS or BT? Simply attach the stereo plug to any device with an audio jack and it'll stream the content to a remote receiver (ie mobile phone via GPRS or BT). It's already been distributed to some companies for beta testing for months. So understand what's available before listening to theories and opinions.
