I've counted it only takes 6 rings before the caller is diverted to my voice mail on T-Mobile Uk. Is it possible to get it set to a higher amount or to turn the bloody thing off?

Does anybody know how I could go about that on the P900?

i think the only way to go is to contact your provider and check whether they can make the changes for you. mine also limit to 6 rings.

Correct, That feature is up to your net-provider.

try this:

works on O2 but not on Orange, dont know about the other two UK providers!

on the standby screen type this and press send:

**61*voicemail no*11*30#

30 at the end means that your mob would ring for 30seconds before going on Vmail! so you can put other numbers! (30secs is the limit)

hope it works!

Regards

Thanks for the advice...

Funny thing tho

I phoned up T-Mobile 3 times to get the voicemail delay time sorted. 1st rep asked me to punch in a sequence which was wrong so I ring up again. The 2nd rep was a lady and she tried her best to get the problem sorted, but was going no where. She even tried to guide me through the process through my land lane while I punched in my code. Still no joy. She meant to call me back but never did. So I rang up the 3rd time and the 3rd rep said he could do the adjustment on his side. I asked why they could not do that before, he said he was an engineer and could do it and his end. So why did I had to ring up 3 times to get it done....... ?????????
