Or can anyone tell me the version numbers of the last update they relaesed for the p800?

you can always check firmware versions in the "Answers to the most common questions on Esato Forums (FAQ style)"

the latest is R2F and that was more than a year ago as I recall so I think its unlikely to see any further firmware versions
