First off, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section, so I decided to ask here.
I recently purchased a T616 off ebay locked to AT&T. I use Cingular, and before I attempt to purchase a terminator dongle and unlock this phone myself, I want to know if Cingular would unlock my phone. Seeing as the T616 are official models for both Cingular and AT&T, I don't see there being much of a problem. Also, how much would the process cost? Or, would I have to go to AT&T (which I really don't want to do since I don't use their service)?

cingular won't unlock it. just send it out, get it unlocked and upgraded..
