I am not quite sure about my reply here mate, but as I have been hearing from some (not all), they are encountering some problems when sending mms when communicating from 2 different type of celfone brands, say, transferring of images from Nokia to SE and vice-versa.

Yes, you cant download the MMS from the MMS server, you only get the MMS notification, but when the phone tries to download the MMS it fails....are you able to send MMS? is GPRS available in your area? Check the MMS setting from your provider..

One more thing, here in Manila, you cannot exchange MMS/Videos from 2 different networks - banned. Works is in the process though. Say, transferring of images/videos from Globe to Smart or vice-versa - even Sun Cellular. Guys from Manila can correct me on this if I'm wrong, but this is what I know, 'am speaking from experience . . .

on which provider are you and when started this problem? maybe its a temporary fault...this also happens to me sometimes when its verry busy on the network (a lot of data traffic) i only get the MMS notification but the MMS can't be downloaded. At those times i change the wapprofile for MMS to the one i use for wapbrowsing (GPRS) this only works for downloading the MMS, not sending..

i suppose T-Mobile uk?
T-MobileMMS settings
Access Point Name: general.t-mobile.uk
Username: user
Password: (as supplied on MMS registration)
Authentication: Normal
Data bearer: GPRS
Gateway IP address: 149.254.211.010
Session mode: Permanent
MMS Message Server/URL:
http://mmsc.t-mobile.co.uk/
The only thing that doesn't work is downloading it from the server, so maybe something with the data bearer
