Ericsson announced a bluetooth Kit for OEMs to develop bluetooth stereo headsets. Current headsets are mono. Mobile phones these days are used to play music and Games, so stereo is a must.
Ericsson's new Bluetooth Stereo Headset Suite will enable a device functioning as stereo headphones to instantaneously switch to headset functionality, for example when receiving an incoming call.
The Ericsson Core Bluetooth Stereo Headset Software B-F7 included in the suite is based on Ericsson's Microstack, a scaled down software stack optimized for easy integration into products with limited resources such as the headset.

We have to wait for the phones with this feature. It's gonna be good, but they have to compress the sound, that will drain battery faster :-(

Seems to be the same that what's in use in the HBM-30.
Stereo & MP3s are in the headset ; calls come from the phone.
If I remember correctly, BT doesn't have enough bandwith to allow one to listen to uncompressed music wirelessly.
