Hello there people,

it's been a good many months since I've posted on these boards, but I've just been offered a free upgrade to the P900 from my P800 by Vodafone. It's arriving on Monday so I'm bloody well extatic! However, I'm totally out of the loop when it comes to software for the P800/P900 so here's a question for all you know-it-alls out there:

What are the must-have apps/games for the P900?

If you could post your recommendations, as well as brief descriptions on what they do, that'd be fantastic. Might also be good for anyone else wanting to know too.

Many thanks.

sure m8, but prolly people woldnt mind answering this fellow. since u can call him a rookie for missing a log time from esato, you might as well take it easy on him. friends, rememba?

so dude, here go mine: i know the games and stuff will last little on mine, but im sure i.m gonna be using the ogg player 4 ever. then, jtext is a good free text edit appy. also, sman to clean/free up mem, just like ctrl+alt+del on win pc. and sure, flash player :)
my advice would be that u dont use the tracker proggy cos it just makes ur phone slower and mor complicated to operate. these here are fit for me. im sure u already knew them anyway. cheers

The point I was trying to make is there have been quite a few topics relating to EXACTLY this subject, so he should have revived one of them rather than start a new one. He better hope Masseur doesnt see this, its exactly the sort of thing he doesnt like.

And, if he is an old Esato member then he has no excuse, he should know.

You can look at this:

As far as Tracker is concerned, I think you should try it. Some people (me included) have no problems with it, but others complain about battery drain, slowing down the phone,... It's a great app if it works like it's meant to.

Oh for god's sake Chaser, don't be so arrogant. Do you really think I'd post a new topic on such an obviously popular subject before searching the forums? Well guess what, I did. And you know what I found? NOTHING. Nothing of any use, anyway. Much like your post.

Thank you for being sooooooooo helpful, I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't clog up my threads with your crap in future.

Danberte, thanks for your suggestions. Yeah I know about those apps, glad to know they're still some of the favourites.

Much appreciated

@Jabe

thanks for the link. It's weird - I've done searches for terms mentioned in that topic and come up with zilch. Much appreciated.

@chaser81

i strongly agree with you my friend, but did it ever occur to you that software is updating all the time and new proggies are issuing every other day? i think this thread is most welcomed in this matter.

@rumik

dont mention it bro. about the soft i mentioned: ive been doing quite some forum and google research and came up with nothing of interest to me so far. thats why i stick to the mentioned. who knows, maybe some fellows will add great app links in this thread and ill thank you later for posting this topic. take care, dan

Yes my friend, it had occured to me but that wasnt my point. My point was that you are supposed to use one thread for one topic, not five or six. Software IS being developed all the time, you are right, but new software can be added to EXISTING topics, a new one doesnt need to be created for it.
