So if i did this and bought a t630 screen and replaced it for my t610 one

what software would i have to upddate

and where could i get this done

You'd have to have the T630 FirmWare, not software. You would have to have a terminator dongle and cable, along with the Div8.4 program. You couldn't get this done by a service center, most likely you'd have to do this yourself. This message was posted from a T616

Not that bad of a chance of messing it up. If you did mess it up, you would simply reflash it.

Technically it is, but I don't like refering to the FirmWare as software, as I consider software games and applications for the phone.
