im so excited cauze 2marrow im hopefully getting my p900. can u guys give me some tips on how to charge my battery to get the best preformance. cheerz

first charge - make it full charge. until the green light goes off. then use it as you wish until its almost drained of battery. charge fully again.... you are all set for a good battery performance then

you should NEVER EVER discharge a new li-ion or li-pol on first use. keep this in mind. these batts come with theirc cells half charged so they dont get destroyed. they are very tacky and precious. when u first put your hands on the beauty please chill and allow, switched off, to fully charge for around 5 or 6 hours. then play as long as u wish. when around 10% left, charge it again. one more of this an then ure free to charge anytime. but hold yourself to discharge it right as soon as u buy it as u could permanently damage the battery. have fun with your new phone!
sman, if u opened mysymbian.com over web, should have a "try it" butt. use that one to download. most software on my-symbian.com, even if free, is downloaded through the try it butt. funny huh? :)

ideally yes, you shoul. the first time ever is important no to empty it. that was the habit/rule with ni-cd yes, but does not apply to li.pol or li.ion. generate a healthy cycle as i dedcribed above and youll get the max out of your batt. you will also notice, time passing, an improvement in authonomy. it.s normal. also a li.pol, li.ion habit: performance increases over time. gool luck

If you are desperate to show off your new P900 and still have your P800 just do what I did: Pop your fully charged p800 battery in the shiny new p900 and charge your virgin p900 battery in the P800 whilst you play!

the first time charge it allow for an hour more, over the moment it indicates full charge. after the cycle i explained in my previous posts, u can charge it say 5 minutes every day and, no, that is not going to affect your battery. but dont disconnect charger sooner than the rated 4h charge time + sparetime 1 hour. 5 hours people. just 5 h to get ur px00.s battery safe.
