It's not a USB 2 problem ! I have the same problem on 2 PCs one connected via SyncStation on a USB 1 port and the other connected (no at the same time of course) via Bluetooth !

It worked perfectly on both systems before updating Windows on-line, after that they stopped working so it's a Microsoft-SonyEricsson software bug they never took care to correct !

I solved the problem using Epocwares's File Manager because SonyEricsson's Assistance really sucks !

dude, my guess is that, you changing usb ports (changed motherboard, huh? or just added a usb 2.0 board and connected the phone to it?), ports were messed up. just make sure u reinstall the phone suite and point correctly to the port it shold use to access the phone. i get the same all the time, but its because of bluetooth. bt, not being correctly implemented in xp, if at all, often fails. but usb shouldnt.

and also configure port speed. generally 115000 is enugh. 230000 might choke the phone. correct me if im wrong.

Also remember to uninstall previous version on the machine.
Remove everything regarding syncsoftware and then reinstall.

THE PRoblem is, i can synchorize my PHONE, i can install any application to my phone...
but i cannot browse the item that i have inside my phone or card memory.. so if i want to add songs, or images ... i can't do it.

When i open yg "P900 Icon" --> it says NOT CONECTED

if you have a firewall try disabling it before connecting the phone. I use Norton Internet Security and when the firewall is active I can sync etc but "MY P900" continues to say not connected, but when I disable it and reconnect the phone all is well
