Not done a very detailed investigation on this... but does anyone know if I can simulate an open flip when the phone flip is actually closed. If this is possible, I can really call it remote P900... as I have almost full control then
Asking here to eliminate all the pain finding this out if this is not possible at all

I don't think this is possibile, due to hw limitation (the "open flip" option is hw-activated!).
I think this is only possibile removing the flip at all, and using the virtual flip.

No, it's not possible just now.
It's a pain as I always have to leave the phone lying somewhwere with the flip open.
It would be great if you could use remote P800 in your pocket flip closed but still simulate the "full screen" mode.
I emailed the developer about 6 months ago but never heard anything.

similar question: how do you unlock your screen with RemoteP900? It's always so annoying if you have autolock after 1 minute that you need to unlock on the phone itself (with jog-dial), while I cannot do it from the PC. Is there a trick to do this?

i get no problem with my p800 connected to the cradle using remote p800.
Locking - press menu, (1) turn on keylock
Unlocking - Press OK, *
Btw, I removed my flip. I use the virtual flip.
