> P900 can't connect after sync upgrade

Hi There,
I was having a problem with my P900, trying to browse the phone (for files) just gave me an error explorer.exe has generated errors and needs to close, always worked before but something screwed it up so I decided to upgrade the firmware on the phone. This doesn't work through the auto update service, I get to the bit where it asks you to download and run a file and says it will redirect the open webpage - it never does.
So - I downloaded the latest version of the sync software - great - now I can browse for files no errors = however I can't sync or backup!!
Is there a way of updating the firmware manually? Does anyone else have any ideas of what to do? Help , please!!

I know youprobably done this but turn off your firewall and antivirus and it might help. Had exactly the same problem upgrading to 2.3.1 EN and had to uninstall my antivirus program. (panda antivirus). It now works great but I am without firewall as only did this last night! Also changed the BAUD rate of the phone and COM4 to 57600 too. worth a try!
