Ok...so ive tried for ages but cant seem to get them.
There are other smilies that you can use in sms messages that use the square bracket...but on my z600 i cant use them cos the square bracket doesnt come up when writing sms. only the rounded brackets come up. Ive tried change the input method and language but it still doesnt come up.
And also theres one smiley that uses a vertical line symbol which i cant get either. All the smileys im talkin about can be seen at

If anyone knows how to get the square bracket and the vertical line symbol then can they tell me plz...Thnx

The straight line i think is a small l (L) and yea i cant get the square brackets either.

what you need to do is send [:] to your phone (perhaps via email) and move your cursor over it backwards, so it gets 'stored'
next time when inputting you should be able to find it when you press 1 and scroll down through your list

Btw I noticed when putting in a url in the wap browser the [ and ] do exist in my characters. Shame they didn't think to put them in the regular dictionary
