Start>Connect to>Show all connections>Create new connection>Set up an advanced connection>next>Connect directly to another computer>next>Select your ir port>next>next>select th user acoutns yo wat to let it use infrared>Next>next>finish.
Go to control anel and then click Wireless link and make sure all the settings are right. Then right click the file you want to and click sendo>anoter compur and turn on your ir on your phone and it should send.

Hi everybody.
I spent all night yesterday trying to send a fax using my Ericsson T 610 and Windows XP (damn it). Everything seems to be working I installed drivers, connected the phone through IR, but it didn't work. I keep getting messages that the line is busy, although it is not.
I remember that I had similar problem with my old Ericsson T 28 and I also vaguely remember that the problem was with the dial tone, which the computer is waiting for but is not getting for obviuos reason. Unfortunately I can't find the way to fix it this time.
Any help, PLEASE.........

I had exactely the same problem to connect through IRda with my Z600, but it only proved that iŽd forgot to set the connectionspeed to 115.200 kbps. If you go to control-panel, my networks, and then choose infrared transiever and change the speed as mentioned, it might work. IŽm using xp on my computer:-)
As a remark, iŽve found the lengde to be approxemately 3 meters range between the telephoneŽn the pc. Before that i believed it was only app. 1 m. or so...
I sure above instructions will help you;-)
