> Triband Clamshell phone coming soon?
Bookmark topic
Does anyone know if SE will be good enough to give us a phone like the Z1010 and its characteristics, but triband? Not like the Z600, which is not really what I would like...or even a triband version of the Z1010?

UMTS, GSM 900 and GSM 1800
Are they not 3 bands that the Z1010 supports?
So it is tri-band?

The Z500 is a good option too.

The man obviously means 'triband' in the sense that he can use his phone in the USA ar wel ar over here. Personally I too would like to see a 3G 'world' phone....

@ all
Yeah, I meant GSM 900/1800/1900, sorry if it wasnt clear.
I wouldn't consider UMTS a band though, because it's a different technology...it's not very important to me @ this point simply because I don't foresee UMTS coming to Canada anytime soon
I saw the Z500 previously but there something about the design that gnaws @ me, I can't really point out what it is though

the word 'gnaw' somehow brings up images of lots of nasty little teeth digging in ...

@ vlam
its exactly what the z500's design does to me hahaha
I think I figured it out...i like the Z1010 better cuz its edges are a bit more rounded...small detail I know, but what can I say, in that sense, I'm detail oriented
